At Colographic we put respect and kindness towards our employees first. That applies to our clients as well. A strong work ethic, family environment, passionate customer service and quality products were the foundation of Colographic’s founding in 1979. That foundation is the secret to our longevity.

 

Colographic built its reputation largely on referrals. That building process continues today, supported by consultative selling where we strive to enroll a prospect based on their wants and needs instead of hitting them over the head with a laundry list of features.

 

We begin with the end goal in mind, coupled with common sense. As our CEO Jimmy Burds puts it, “When putting graphics on a vehicle, downtime and scheduling are paramount concerns. If you’ve just bought a new vehicle that needs branding, it’s logical that you want to get it into service ASAP. So, look at the profit generated by that vehicle daily. Let’s say it’s a couple hundred bucks. Do you want to take it out of service for several days versus one or two to save $50 on the graphics? And what’s the cost of a shoddy job that requires a redo?”

 

Our small family business started in Jim Burds’ garage in 1979. Shortly thereafter, we incorporated and moved into a two-bay shop in Commerce City. Today, we occupy a 12,600 square foot building on three-plus acres. This modern facility is designed for maximum efficiency, allowing us to produce and install high quality work rapidly and reliably.
