The holiday spirit was alive and thriving as our community came together for a festive and charitable Ugly Sweater Contest. With the aim of supporting Dupont Elementary, we rallied participants to don their most delightfully dreadful holiday attire, and the response was heartwarming.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and participants, we were able to present Dupont Elementary with a substantial contribution. A big shoutout goes to Grimco for their generous donation of $500, alongside our own contribution of $530. But the spirit of giving didn’t stop there.
In a truly touching gesture, two of our Ugly Sweater Contest winners, Sharon and Dave, decided to pay it forward by donating their prize money back to the school. Their selflessness embodies the true meaning of community and compassion.
While this year’s turnout may have been modest, the impact of our collective efforts is immeasurable. As we reflect on the success of this year’s Ugly Sweater Contest, we’re already looking forward to building upon this foundation and making next year’s event even bigger and better. With the continued support of our community, we’re confident that we can make an even greater impact and spread joy to those who need it most.
